The Intern Program is a dynamic, intensive
year-long program to train teachers in the gifts of the Spirit so that
they may teach others. The one year commitment involves a willingness to
commit several hours every day to the pursuit and mastery of the gifts
of the Spirit. By the end of their term, they must be able to
demonstrate the Spirit of God in signs and wonders. Upon graduation,
intern teachers will be released to use Lightbearers' materials in their
classes on the gifts of the Spirit.
The intern program involves daily prayer in
tongues and study of the Word, as well as studying and reporting on the
best books we know in the field of the gifts of the Spirit from such
authors as Kenneth Hagin, Derek Prince and Dale Sides. Also, the interns
receive a full course of study of the gifts from Rev. Kevin Porter via
the internet. Currently over one hundred students in sixteen countries
are participating in the program. New groups start each January and July
1st. Groups are limited to twenty five participants. Mrs.
Patricia Hansen is the dean of the program. Requirements for
application:
1. Each intern applicant must believe they
have a teaching ministry in the Body of Christ and have a good
reputation of faithfulness among the Church.
2. Each intern applicant must be able to communicate
clearly in English, have their own email address, and have access to the
internet on a regular basis. It is advisable, though not required, that
each applicant be able to speak in tongues before they start their term.
3. Each intern applicant must contact Dean Hansen via email to apply for the program at:
